WHAT:
An afternoon of fun aerial flying at Trapeze School New York.

WHY:
Because its fun and ...what else are you gonna do on a Sunday afternoon in the dead of winter, post-all that December/January holiday glee??? Better yet, if youre mortified of heights like me, this is an excellent challenge to help you face your fears and actually have fun (or make fun of) yourself while youre at it!

WHERE:
The Trapeze School is SUPER-EASY to get to and located at 518 West 30th Street, between 10th and 11th Avenues, on the south side of the street. Just take the 1, 2, 3, A, C, or E subway to 34th St. (Penn Station). From there, walk south to 30th St. and then west to 518 W 30th, just past 10th Ave.

Or, take the 1 train to 28th street; walk 2 blocks north to 30th St., then 3.5 blocks west. The walk is about 10 minutes from any of these subway stops.

For driving directions from Brooklyn, NJ, or elsewhere in Manhattan, you can visit their website at www.newyork.trapezeschool.com

WHAT TO WEAR:
Although the net is soft to land in, it can be a little rough on exposed knees, shoulders and toes. Also remember that youll be wearing a safety belt over your shirt and youll be hooking your knees over the bar, so its best to wear clothes that fit snugly so they wont get in your way. Tights, yoga pants, or snug sweat pants always work well, and shirts with sleeves (even very short ones) are a good idea. Bring a pair of socks or light slippers to wear while youre flying, and sandals or flip flops to wear between turns.

LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience is necessary.

Classes are 2 hours long and are taught in groups of up to 10 people.  First-time students will learn the knee-hang and may even be able to try a catch. All students will have the opportunity to advance their skills.

COST:
$75.00 per person for the 2 hour-class

.....OR!!

EARLY BIRD SPECIAL:
$69.00 per person if you sign-up on or before January 11th!

PAYMENT & REGISTRATION - 2 easy steps!:
1) Send in your payments through PAYPAL to: keighsey@yahoo.com.
2) You will be officially registered in the class only after you email me your name and phone number.

RSVP NO LATER THAN: January 18, 2009. Because of space and reservation logisitics, we need to give the School enough heads-up time to reserve our spots, since they operate on a first come-first serve basis.

CANCELLATION:
If you need to cancel before January 27th, you will get a full refund. Otherwise, it will be your responsibility to find someone to take your place. No exceptions (sorry!).
